It is a great pleasure for us to invite
25 young European youth - in the age from 18 to 22 - to visit Denmark
and join the "Camp Djurs 2014" in the period:
16 August 2014.
The five inviting Danish Rotary
neighbouring Clubs: Grenaa, Grenaa GoMorn, Grenaa-Djurs, Roende and
Rosenholm , all in the Rotary District 1440, are situated in a
particularly beautiful nature of Jutland east of Aarhus, “The world’s
smallest big city”.
Most days will incorporate home stays in
local Rotary homes giving an insight to the standard of living in
Some nights you will spend in tents or
shelters, where you will need your sleeping bag, sleeping mat and towels
The last two nights you will be together
at a Youth Hostel.
All the camp members are asked to take
part in cooking, cleaning etc.
Hosts at the camp will include English
speaking Danish youth leaders at the participants’ own age.

The result will
be updated regularly.
main goals of the camp:
To experience the life on Djursland, the ancient culture in the region, the possibilities of
tourism and making new friends.
both weeks there will be excursions to places of interest.
When returning home the young guests should have obtained a good deal of
knowledge about Denmark and what has been done to protect the
environment in this country.
The clubs and the camp-hosts are looking forward to meeting all of you
