Camp Djurs 2008

2 to 16 August

Organizer: RC of Rosenholm

It is a pedestrian shopping street.

850 metres of fascinating shops tightly packed on both sides - some 100 shops in total. In this shopping paradise you can find anything your heart could desire. Århus' pedestrianised high street stretches from the Central Station to the Cathedral.

The Latin Quarter

At the opposite end of town, beyond the Cathedral, is the ‘Latin Quarter’ – Århus’ oldest quarter. The streets have historical names such as Klostergade (Convent St), Volden (The Rampart) and Borggade (Castle St) – and in the centre of the quarter is the Pustervig Torv square as a small and cosy oasis, perfect for a break.

In the narrow cobblestoned streets the beautiful houses form a creative mixture from trend-setting design shops to shops with small rooms with creaking wooden floors.
